I am Mona Scott and I love to write about all things related to fabrics.  As you can tell from my first ever blog (Sew Far, So Good) that I was raised on a farm in west Tennessee and cotton was a very important part of our lives.  I grew up chopping cotton, picking cotton, pulling cotton, and sewing with cotton fabrics.

I now live on the east coast in a suburb of Baltimore MD called Parkville.  While my home isn’t technically in the country any longer, my half-acre is wooded and I have room for flower beds and an herb garden.  I spend as much time as I can outside or on my back porch with my kitty, Minnie (who thinks she is a dog.)

I hope you will follow my blog as I write about the things I  love (fabric as well as other interests) and I hope you leave me a message so I can follow you as well.  Please take good care of yourselves and those you love.  Blessed Be.  Mona Scott
