I am Mona Scott and I love to write about all things related to fabrics. As you can tell from my first ever blog (Sew Far, So Good) that I was raised on a farm in west Tennessee and cotton was a very important part of our lives. I grew up chopping cotton, picking cotton, pulling cotton, and sewing with cotton fabrics.
I now live on the east coast in a suburb of Baltimore MD called Parkville. I am a Lesbian, married to my partner of 25 years (Lee Ann) (Thank You State of Maryland!) and we have a beautiful, talented, sweet, sweet daughter named Etta Shayu. We adopted Etta from China when she was four months old and she turned 18 in January. I also have a birth daughter, Delana Marie, who lives in Atlanta with her mate Tracy (male). Delana is 42. We have had numerous pets throughout our lives but are now down to one fabulous kitty named Minnie. Minnie is a Scottish Fold with unfolded ears. She is more like a dog than a cat.
I hope you will follow my blog as I write about the things I love (fabric as well as other things) and I hope you leave me a message that I can follow you as well. Please take good care of yourselves and those you love. Blessed Be. Mona Scott
